WorkOut:
In preparation for next week here is your weekend exercise task or ‘WorkOut’:
  1. Find some time over the weekend to start running. You will need find at least 20 to 30 minutes for this exercise.
  2. Find your starting point to start your run: It could be from your front door, from your workplace, at the barriers for the Underground, from the entrance to your local park.
  3. Settle yourself into a starting position. It doesn’t necessarily have to be like this, but find a physical position that feels comfortable to start from, that allows for you to focus on the horizon.
  4. Once you start running, don’t stop until you feel out of breath.
  5. Don’t think about where you’re going to or from or through, just follow your running instincts.
  6. However, the aim of the ‘WorkOut’ is to create a full circle, a circuit, a course, from your starting point, around your local area, and back to the starting point and starting position.
  7. Don’t over-exert yourself, or tire yourself out. Just stop whenever your body tells you.
  8. Recover your energy, reclaim your breath and breathing, and start again.
  9. Keep circling, circuiting and cycling around your intutive circuit, observing everytime you stop, where you are and how many times you have been around the circuit. What has changed? Who has changed? What do you notice about going around and around the same line, the same area? Are you improving? Are you degrading? What is happening to your energy after each lap?
